At Groundhog Landscaping, we have been on the cutting edge of landscape maintenance services for over 25 years. It is how we started out and continue to please our customers year after year. In 2013, we launched our Turf Care Division to provide a deeper level of landscape care services primarily for our residential clients.
What is involved in Landscape Maintenance Services?
To understand the full scope of what our landscape maintenance services entail – for both homeowners and commercial clients – we have categorized them under general landscape maintenance and lawn and shrub care. All maintenance packages can be customized on based on our clients’ needs.

Do we offer Maintenance Packages?
While all maintenance services are customized on based on our clients’ needs, here is an example of what most of our residential clients opt for in terms of weekly and seasonal landscape maintenance:
Residential Landscape Maintenance Services
- Weekly Lawn Mowing Services – Mowing crews cut lawns weekly throughout the season. Clients are billed immediately after each cut.
- Spring and Fall Cleanups – These landscape services bookend the season from kickstarting plant and lawn growth in early spring to cleaning up the last leaf before the snow flies.
- Bark Mulching – Our bed edging and mulching services give a crisp look to the lawn edges and a pop of color for the beds. We use a bark blower for maximum efficiency and less waste.
- Irrigation Maintenance – Residential irrigation maintenance involves two visits a year: spring startups and winterization services (system blowouts) in the fall. Clients may opt for either one or both services.
- Tree and Shrub Pruning – We offer a summer pruning service from our landscaping crews, as well as a horticultural pruning services that are part of Groundhog Turf Care’s Tree and Shrub Program.
- Lawn Fertilization Program – Managed by our Turf Care division, our lawn care program includes 8 visits per year to give your lawn all it needs to be healthy and vigorous
